Progress on your device

When you complete a quiz, this site attempts to save scores, dates, quiz modes, missed question IDs, and topic performance in localStorage on your device. No account, name, or email is required to use the quizzes. Progress is not intentionally sent to a server. Up to 100 recent quiz results are retained in this browser.

You can delete this data from the Your Progress page or your browser’s site-data settings. Browser storage can be unavailable or cleared, and is not a secure place for sensitive information.

Color theme preference

The color theme follows your device setting unless you choose Light or Dark in the header. We save this choice on your device under “kyr-theme-v1.” Choose System to follow your device again. If browser storage is unavailable, your override applies to the current visit.

Technical request information

The hosting provider may process IP addresses, request headers, URLs, device information, and security logs to deliver and protect the website. Provider policies and hosting configuration determine retention and handling. We do not claim that visiting the site involves no data processing.

Optional Google Analytics

When configured, Google Analytics helps us understand visits and site usage. We load its tag only after you choose “Allow analytics.” Rejecting analytics does not affect quizzes or locally saved progress. You can change your choice using “Analytics preferences” in the footer when analytics is available.

If you allow analytics, Google may receive information such as pages visited, referral information, browser and device details, and network information. Analytics cookies can help distinguish visits. We also record when a quiz starts or finishes, along with its mode (practice, mock exam, or road signs) and question count. These events help us understand which practice experiences are used. We do not send scores, your saved quiz history, individual answers, or missed-question IDs to Google. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled in the site’s tag.

We save your analytics choice in this browser under “kyr-analytics-consent-v1.” Withdrawing permission disables future collection from this tag and attempts to clear its accessible analytics cookies; it does not delete data already received by Google. Clearing browser site data removes your saved choice. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice applies to the current page visit.

Advertising

We are preparing this site for Google AdSense review. Our public account verification tag and ads.txt file do not load advertising scripts or set advertising cookies. Ads are not currently enabled.

If advertising is enabled, Google and participating third-party advertising vendors may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, and browser or device information to deliver and measure ads, limit repeated ads, and help prevent fraud. Google’s advertising cookies may allow personalized ads based on visits to this and other websites.

Advertising consent is separate from our optional analytics choice. Before serving ads, we will configure the applicable advertising consent message and privacy controls and update this policy to reflect the settings actually in use. Rejecting optional tracking will not prevent you from using the practice quizzes or locally saved progress.

You can manage Google ad personalization in My Ad Center and learn more about Google’s advertising technologies. Other participating vendors offer choices through YourAdChoices. Turning off personalization does not necessarily prevent all advertising cookies or other technical processing.

Contact and privacy requests

If you choose to email us, we receive your email address, message, and any information you include through our email provider. We use that correspondence to respond to your request and retain it only as needed for that purpose or applicable recordkeeping obligations. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information.

For privacy questions, correction requests, or a request to delete correspondence, contact Eight Bells Ventures. We will consider deletion requests subject to applicable recordkeeping obligations. Browser-only quiz data can be cleared using Your Progress or your browser’s site-data controls.

External websites and changes

Links to official state resources, including the Indiana BMV, and other external websites take you to independently operated services with their own privacy policies. This policy will be updated here when our practices change.
